Iβm 23, and feel I am lucky to have had the luxury & grace to work at amazing, diverse places...
- Founded Traboda CyberLabs in November 2020 along with Vipin Pavithran and my colleagues at team bi0s & amFOSS to innovate cyber products and solutions for mitigating rapidly emerging cyber threats, especially through nurturing and practically skilling talents.
- Oversaw and contributed to the startup's foundation through strategising and engineering products in the cybersecurity edtech area and wearing multiple hats from sales to operations.
- Turned the company profitable within a year of founding by leading the development of the Traboda Arena Capture-The-Flag (CTF) platform, which since has been used by global giants like Schneider Electric, Cisco, renowned government organizations like NCIIPC, AICTE, as well as top Indian universities including Amrita, BITS, VIT, for campus recruitments, practical skill training and skill benchmarking in the field of cyber-security.
- Had the opportunity to host Indiaβs Largest CTF - InCTF Junior 2021 partnering with CBSE with over 17500 student participants, on the Traboda Arena platform.
- Built and managed a product team of 20 members, also actively mentored student interns.
- As an engineer (also acting as CTO of Traboda), led the development of 3+ B2B / B2C SaaS Platforms in CyberSecurity & Edtech, including the Traboda CyberLabs, Traboda Academy, Traboda Arena, TankPhish etc.
- My technical work extensively involved NextJS (React / Typescript), Django (Python), and GraphQL stack. Maintained 35+ code repositories for Traboda. Set up CI/CD & DevOps processes, and managed deployments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher etc.
- Made slide-decks, and project proposals, delivered sales pitches to sign-on clients, and also actively engaged with them to collect feedback, provide support and design custom solutions.
- Worked on developing and integrating a Capture The Flag programme for Schneider, as consultant from Traboda CyberLabs.
- Worked with Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Rancher, VDI, etc. to deploy the solution in the SE's cloud.
- Extensively developed customized features to meet SE requirements such as SSO integration, GDPR compliance, etc.
- Schneider Electric currently uses Traboda Arena for its internal cybersecurity training and awareness programs, as well as in its all-India campus recruitment drive (Cyberchaze) to recruit cyber-security talents.
- Got selected for the Google Summer of Code 2019 program, with Salesforce Open Source, as a student intern for a project that involved migration of the Lightening Design System Library of Salesforce to their React Component Library from HTML/CSS.
- Added 9 new components to the Salesforce Design System React Library, and made numerous other contributions to the library through 18+ pull requests.
- The tasks also extensively involved ensuring a11y, and unit-testing using Jest.
- Had the opportunity to work under mentors from the Salesforce Engineering Team, based in the US, during the 3 months as Google Summer of Code student intern.
- Received an offer to do an internship at GMETRI Studio Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore during the Hackference India Hackathon 2018, impressed by the hackathon project GitLit. Worked with GMETRI for a one-month full-stack developer internship during my first-semester break.
- During the internship, primarily worked on launching an Analytics Panel for clients on GMETRI's no-code VR platform.
- Had the opportunity to work on modelling databases, creating API endpoints, to building a basic track panel on the front end. Doing this, I was exposed to technologies including Hasura, GraphQL, NodeJS, React, and Redux.
- GMETRI Studio is a new-age technology start-up based in Bengaluru that designs VR/AR solutions for retail and training. Their clients include BigBasket, Jio, Airtel, Indian Navy, Borsch, PVR, etc.
